Civil Service World Upcoming Events

Civil Service World is working with the Post Office to offer a series of free-to-attend seminars on the channel shift agenda and digital exclusion. The first seminar, entitled Digital by Default: putting users at the heart of the channel shift agenda will focus on how policy teams can focus on putting user needs at the center of service design, including vulnerable and excluded users. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the challenges they face, explore common solutions and share best practice to ensure that users remain paramount as digital services are developed.

The second seminar, entitled Where next for Digital Inclusion, will consider some of the important questions surrounding they key challenges and issues of digital inclusion and what steps must be taken to fulfill the government’s aim to be the world’s most digitally literate nation. The session will consider these questions from the perspective and learning’s of digital inclusion partners including Race Online 2012, BBC, GDS and Post Office. It will also give an overview of the definition of ‘Assisted Digital.’

The Digital by Default seminar will be held on Monday 5 March at 10am to 2pm.
