The Civil Service Benevolent Fund stands ready to help any current, former, or retired civil servants who have been affected by the recent rioting across the country.
The Fund has put in place procedures to speed up the process of applying for financial help for those people.
They are being urged to complete the Fund’s Emergency Application Form for Assistance, specially designed for use on such occasions, so that if they need support to help clean up, or to replace essential items ahead of receiving help from insurance companies, the Fund may be able to help.
The form can be downloaded from the Fund’s website at the following link:

Fund Director Beryl Evans says, “We’ve all been shocked at the scale of the disturbances across the country in the last few days, and want to reassure anyone who might need the Fund for help and support as a result of the rioting that we are here for them.
“So if you need our support, or know of anyone who might need us, please contact us immediately.”
Anyone who needs further information about applying for help should contact the Fund using its Freephone Service: 0800 056 2424. It’s open every working day during office hours.
The Fund would also ask people not affected by the riots to use our regular Application Form for Assistance if they need our help so that we can get the help needed out to people affected by the recent events more quickly.
