The Corporate IT Professional Capability Team plays a key role in enabling all of DWP’s IT professionals to develop their full potential and thereby deliver excellent service. Our key role is to increase professionalism by:

  • supporting individuals and line mangers to assess and develop their capabilities in terms of developing breadth and/or depth of knowledge, skills and experience
  • developing skills groups to promote career and accreditation pathways and support talent management
  • liaising with internal and external providers to provide effective, value-for-money learning solutions.
