International Women's Day Centenary 2011: Women in Whitehall: facing the future

imageThe theme for this year’s event is Women in Whitehall: Facing the Future.  The event will focus on the position of women in Whitehall and issues facing women as the civil service downsizes, such as job hunting and personal finance. It is open to all civil servants from all departments and agencies.


FREE EVENT, CENTRAL LONDON – BOOKING STILL OPEN

In the main conference hall we have inspirational and informative speakers including:

  • Sir Gus O’Donnell
  • Helen Kilpatrick, Gender Champion in the Home Office
  • Lin Homer, Permanent Secretary Department for Transport
  • Lynne Featherstone, Minister for Equalities
  • Camilla Thrush , who has transformed the Olympic Park construction workforce
