“All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.” Galileo
I am often accused of being too technical, of making people uncomfortable with talk of product symbiosis, deployment topologies, hardware infrastructure etc… However whilst watching “Cats & Dogs - the revenge of Kitty Galore” my eldest daughter asked me to explain how it was, animals who where enemies, could work together when they where so different? Over lunch she came to understand the truth that when you have a shared interest (trying to capture kitty galore so the world will not end) animals come together and work towards the same outcome, i.e. they both win.
It’s ironic how the next day during a conference call with prospective customers a similar topic arose.
I found myself explaining how our agile approach to development (through hot housing and iterative cycles) can unite a seemingly disparate group of people in agreement over a common set of requirements and functionality.
As the conversation progressed and we came to discuss our product, more specifically our case management functionality, there was almost a tangible Ping heard as the participants came to realise that through SPP it is possible to unite, SharePoint, MS CRM, HP Trim and Kofax while additionally drawing on enterprise data from both Oracle and SQL.
Although this was all addressed in the RFI it was expressed ‘technically’ and when openly discussed, a further truth was discovered.
As a Technical Architect it’s easy to utilise the latest technologies, to ride the wave of consensus, to tick the boxes that address the hype whilst conversely not offering the most comprehensive solution. It’s easy to bamboozle less technical people, familiar with what the “market tells them they want”.
Although its easy for me to say that the Singularity Process Platform (SPP) offers the most comprehensive OOTB case management functionality as endorsed by leading independent analysts and that we are a proven enterprise platform and inherently scalable, I would invite you - like Insolvency, Northgate, Optima Legal etc have done before you - to discover and understand the architectural platform that is SPP.
I invite you to ‘discover the truth’, that SPP meets the needs of increasing business velocity, in a time where ROI within 90 days is achieved.
I never forget that the highest appreciation is not to speak nor write the words, but to live by them. It is my drive and inspiration to populate the world with agile companies that, at their core, integrate, manage, adapt and revise process through the Singularity Process Platform.
I will continue to drive our product architecture towards this holistic view ensuring the technologies that we incorporate will facilitate this mission.
