Can I attend more than one day at London?

The content for Civil Service Live has been designed so that you can tailor it to your requirements, in most cases you will be able to achieve your objectives from the event in one day. If you would like to return on any other day, we would be very pleased to see you again.

I don't work in Whitehall - is this event for me?

Yes! Civil Service Live is for all UK civil servants whether based in London or across the UK, including the devolved institutions and even if you work for the UK civil service abroad.
We want you to take part and to share your experiences.

How much does it cost?

Civil Service Live is free to attend for Civil Servants and those who in local government and the wider public sector.

As the costs of the event are met through private sector sponsorship and advertising, the following delegate fees apply:

For individuals from the private sector there is a charge of £575 per delegate per day or £1500 per delegate for all three days.

We recognise many from the charity / voluntary sector may like to attend, so offer the substantially discounted rate of £125 per delegate per day or £330 per delegate for all three days.

Can I claim for my travel and subsistence?

Civil Service Live is free to attend for civil servants. Travel and subsistence will need to be claimed in the usual way following departmental guidelines, if you have any questions regarding expenses please contact your line manager.

Is catering provided?

There are cash catering and refreshment points throughout the venue, so please make sure you carry enough cash to purchase food and drinks. Onsite catering is provided by Leith’s and there are plenty of restaurants in the area.
