Using Microsoft Project 2007, it is possible to view and display ‘Interim Plans’.
So how could an interim plan help us? The expectation is we will need to consider questions such as;
• "What would be the impact to the schedule if we added/subtracted X amount of tasks?"
• “How would a new ‘proposed’ baseline compare against our forecasted finish?”
• “What would be the impact to our schedule if we extended/reduced the duration of certain activities?”
