What is the Civil Service Live Network?
Civil Service Live Network is a professional networking site which brings together officials from across government with their partners in the private and voluntary sectors.
The Network offers a number of tools to help civil servants build connections, share best practice, ask questions and learn from the experiences of others. Users can create profiles, share information and subscribe to free news alerts on topics most relevant to them.
Combining news and features from Civil Service World with member-generated content, the Network is an invaluable resource for professionals across the civil service community.

What is Civil Service Live?
Civil Service Live is the largest gathering of civil servants designed to share best practice, promote innovation and drive collaboration across all government departments and agencies.
It was launched by the Cabinet Secretary and Civil Service World.
The event features exhibition stands, plenary sessions with high profile speakers, workshops, an innovation space, a civil service history museum and exciting contests.

What are the Civil Service Awards?
The UK civil service is admired around the world for its consistent ability to deliver an incredibly high standard of service to the country.
To maintain the government’s world-class status, it constantly strives to improve systems, drive efficiency and increase its operating standards. Innovation and research are essential to this constant improvement and it is vital that this best practice is communicated across government.

By taking examples of excellent projects, initiatives and teamwork championed by senior government, this unique programme provides a platform from which government can share knowledge and further modernise the delivery of services.
