The Amaze Project is a project that was designed by Civil Servants for everyone including the public, and is run in thier own time but with support from various departments. The idea behind the project is to showcase the creative talents of civil servants, the public and the education system, and use those skills to reduce creative media costs in the civil service and public sector.

It's almost amusing that it has never been thought about or developed before and we know that with the right support it can be a success and this is where YOU come in.

The site is run by Tim Knight, Alan Preece, and Antony Penman, and they do this because they believe in the concept and believe it will offer everyone a chance to showcase skills that perhaps wouldn't have been shown otherwise.

In the short time it has been developed it has actually achieved quite a lot already, from the pictures below you can tell that the concept in action.

This was done cost-free and were currently working on other projects that will result in achieving things cost-free again. What is needed more then anything is people who want to showcase thier talents, whether its graphic design, writing, video editing/filming, whatever it is we want to hear from you and ask you to get involved with our various forums. So what forums do we have exactly?

Well there is the City of Blackbridge forums and here you can take part in fun activities, read blogs, and generally meet like minded individuals, this essentially is our fun home for things that don't perticulary relate to the work environment but will help to build a creative community. Then there is Civil Networks where all our work based projects will be housed, along with yet more blogs, and links to places like our Civil Pages platform where private civil service projects are kept.

There has been so much talk about how to reduce costs, how to change services, and the simple truth is that actually with the right motivational tools you could use your own staff to help with this, or call upon outside sources if you offer the right type of motivation and through Amaze no matter what the work is we can help you get there.

Currently were building a school/college/uni database which will be used to invite students all over the country to City of Blackbridge and Amaze in general, we are also working on several projects including creating content for the Directgov website and you can find out all about here

Our biggest issue is exposure, and we hope that you will pass the link to this blog onto all your contacts and maybe help us build this wonderful creative community, with 144 members already we are sure that with a little help we can build the creative community we know is out there.

PLEASE BE AWARE ALL PLATFORMS ARE CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT SO LAYOUT AND CONTENT MAY CHANGE OVER TIME.
