Civil Service Challenge - The Winner

And....The winner is.....Team Liverpool.
The panel unanimously chose the team which were not only the most successful in terms of creating opportunities for apprentices, but also used the least amount of the budget.

Civil Service Challenge - The Final

Atendees at the Civil Service Challenge finale had the chance to have their say, from the comfort of their seats. Using their remote control voting sets, they selected the team that best ahered to Gus's 4 P's.
Here's the results of the vote:
1) Liverpool 50%
2) London 21%
3) Nottingham 19%
4) Plymouth 10%
But, these aren't the final results. In true 'strictly come dancing' style, the decision falls to the panel of experts.

Alan Sugar came to day 2 of Civil Service Live to talk about "Think Big about Policy, Think small first".
Conversation about The Apprentice was stictly off the menu, but people were keen to hear about Sir Alan's work with young people and entrepreneurship.
He anounced to the audience that over 20,000 young people have applied for his youth apprentice scheme, and stressed the need for to foster a new generation of enthusiastic and outgoing businesspeople.

HRH Prince Charles on Equality

HRH Prince Charles was a surprise guest at a discussion on "Equality: From Policy to the frontline". Attendees were treated to a quick fire round of 'Who wants to be an Equality Millionaire".
