What is Civil Service Live?

Civil Service Live was launched in April 2008 by Sir Gus O’Donnell and the National School of Government in association with Whitehall & Westminster World (now Civil Service World). It was the largest ever gathering of civil servants and aimed to inspire innovation across the entire UK civil service.

At a time when the government is expected to deliver more with less, this unique event is a crucial opportunity for civil servants and organisations from the private, voluntary and wider public sectors to collaborate and learn from each other.

Innovation is the key to overcoming the challenges that are facing the civil service. Civil Service Live is about inspiring innovation through creativity, best practice, training and networking, making it the must attend event of the year for every civil servant.
